Esther Berg, van den is a seasoned researcher affiliated with the Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau since April 2003, specializing in civil society, participation, livability, and the social domain. Esther's research focuses on trends and developments within civil society and their impacts on social cohesion and democratic systems. Previously, Esther held a post-doctorate position at University College Roosevelt, Universiteit Utrecht, from November 2012 to September 2014, working on the 'Human Rights and the City' project.
