Heather Reppeto

Heather Reppeto has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare and mental health. Heather'smost recent role was as the Chief Health and Wellness Officer at the Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. (NARA), where they facilitated the development of positive relationships and integration between various healthcare programs. Heather also provided effective leadership and ensured healthcare providers were working efficiently. Prior to this, they were the Acting Chief Health and Wellness Officer at NARA and the Chief of Staff, where they supported the CEO and oversaw senior projects. Heather also served as the Life is Sacred/Zero Suicide Project Director at NARA, where they developed and managed the Zero Suicide program. Heather supervised and coordinated staff to establish new policies and protocols aimed at reducing suicide within the NARA patient community.

Before their time at NARA, Heather worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Progressive Rehabilitation Associates, LLC, where they gained experience in the field. Heather also worked as a Psychology Intern at Samaritan Health Services, providing behavioral health consultation and therapy to patients in various healthcare settings. Prior to that, they were a Behavioral Health Specialist at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital-Internal Medicine, where they assisted medical residents and provided therapy to high-risk clients.

Heather's earlier work experience includes roles as a Mental Health Therapist at NARA NW's Totem Lodge, a Behavioral Health Therapist, and a mental health provider at the Wellness Center. These roles involved providing culturally competent care to Native Americans and individuals with severe mental illness and dual diagnosis. Heather also worked as an Intern/Adult Mental Health Counselor, providing individual and group therapy to adults.

In addition to their clinical work, they have also been involved in research as a Research Interviewer for an ADHD Research Study at Oregon Health and Science University and as a Teaching Assistant for Assessment of Individuals at Pacific University.

Heather Reppeto's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Madisonville Community College and studied nursing until 1999. Heather then attended Mt. Hood Community College from 2004 to 2007, earning an Associate of Science degree with a focus on Science and Psychology. In 2007, they briefly attended Clark College. From 2008 to 2010, Heather studied Psychology at Washington State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Heather then pursued their Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in organizational behavior from Pacific University, graduating in 2012. Heather continued their education at Pacific University, completing a PsyD program in Clinical Psychology with a health emphasis from 2012 to 2017.
