Joanna Ackroyd

Community Fundraising Campaigns Manager Interim at The National Autistic Society

Joanna Ackroyd is a Senior Community and Fundraising Campaigns Officer at The National Autistic Society since March 2015, leading the flagship campaign World Autism Acceptance Week and managing various fundraising initiatives, including the 100 Miles in October challenge. Prior to this role, Joanna served as the interim Community & Fundraising Campaigns Manager, overseeing a team and all community fundraising efforts, and worked as a Community and Fundraising Campaigns Officer providing support to South region fundraisers. Joanna's experience includes roles at the RSPCA as a Supporter Development Executive focusing on legacy and events, and as a Marketing Executive at WWF-UK. Additional experience includes event management positions at Go-experience and Waterstones. Joanna holds a BA Hons in Performance Studies from Arts Educational Schools/City University and an NCDT Diploma in Drama from Webber Douglas.
