Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with extensive expertise in developing collaborative solutions and hardware for interactive educational devices. Currently, at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has worked on projects involving DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels as part of a cross-functional team. Previous roles include firmware engineer at SMART Technologies and electronics contractor at the Science Alberta Foundation, where responsibilities encompassed firmware development and electronics design for educational devices. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and applied electronics engineering skills at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
