Aleko Kimbouris has over a decade of experience in the medical field, currently serving as the Director of Didactic Education and Associate Professor at the JWU Center for Physician Assistant Studies since May 2018. In addition, Aleko has been a Physician Assistant Certified at Rhode Island Hospital's Cardiac Cath Lab since May 2022 and works as a Physician Assistant in the Cardiac Care Unit at Miriam Hospital since January 2020. Previous roles include leadership positions with the Rhode Island Academy of PAs and the Rhode Island Department of Health, as well as significant clinical experience in neurosurgery and general surgery across various hospitals. Aleko's educational background includes a degree in Biology and Nuclear Medicine Technology from Worcester State University and a graduate degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
