James Cruddas is an experienced professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Trade Operations and Systems at Defra since February 2017. In addition, James has been a Presbyter (Minister) for The Methodist Church since September 2012. Prior to these roles, James held the position of Deputy Director of Resilience and Emergencies at the Department for Communities and Local Government from May 2011 to February 2017. James holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, completed between 2002 and 2004, as well as a Foundation Degree in Theology for Christian Ministry from Canterbury Christ Church University, earned from 2009 to 2012.
