Rick Rogers is the current Director at The Mentoring Alliance. Rick has over 14 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Agile Scrum. Rick has worked for companies such as Thales and Ball Aerospace where they were responsible for designing and developing SQL Server- and Oracle-based reporting and analytics. At Thales, they prototyped and developed data migration paths from AWS-hosted sources into Azure. Rick also managed the data storage transformation product backlog. At Ball Aerospace, they accelerated delivery time for hardware quality analytics by 60% by building and mentoring IT department’s first cross-functional Agile Scrum team. Rick also saved $200k in unnecessary features by training and engaging new Product Owner and SMEs, enabling continuous reassessment of priorities and focus on high value functionality.
Rick Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University. Rick is certified by the Scrum Alliance in Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E), Certified Agile Leadership for Organizations (CAL-O), and Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T). Rick is also a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance and a Certified Business Intelligence Professional from The Data Warehousing Institute.
