Rashaan Anderson, PhD., MSPH, currently serves as the Director of Community Outreach at The Medica Zone, focusing on community engagement strategies. In addition, Rashaan is a Prevention Curriculum Development Specialist at Soteria Solutions, providing tailored solutions for workplace safety and employee health. Extensive experience includes roles as Health & Wellness Consultant at Lifelines Consulting, Program Manager for Health Equity Programs at the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, and Community Health Manager at The Health Gap, where Rashaan oversaw community health programs and assessments. Earlier positions include managerial roles in operations and quality resources, along with academic roles as an adjunct instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Virginia College. Rashaan holds a PhD in Health Education/Health Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and multiple degrees in public health and biology from Meharry Medical College and Tennessee State University.
