Emily Ransone is a skilled digitization technician with significant experience in digital imaging and archival processes. Currently employed at The Mariners'​ Museum and Park, Emily is responsible for digitization tasks. Previously, at Media Fusion, LLC, Emily utilized CaptureOne software to digitize over 14,000 negatives in NASA Langley’s archives and contributed to developing digitization workflows aligned with FADGI standards. Emily has also held various roles at Christopher Newport University, including curatorial consulting and serving as a fine arts and art history department intern, where contributions included exhibition set-up, art handling, and leading informational tours. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts from Christopher Newport University and has engaged in multiple research projects, showcasing a strong foundation in art history and photography.
