Dar Johnson serves as a board member for the African American Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and the New Mexico American Indian Chamber of Commerce, contributing to both organizations since 2020 and 2019 respectively. With a long-standing commitment to community service, Johnson is also a director at The Loan Fund and an external stakeholder for SCORE Albuquerque Chapter, focusing on enhancing educational opportunities for Native American youth. An esteemed guest lecturer at the University of New Mexico's Robert O. Anderson School of Management, Johnson has received the 2020 SBA New Mexico District Legacy Award and held leadership roles in several professional associations, including serving as past president of the Professional Aerospace Contractors Association and the International Test and Evaluation Association. Johnson's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from Western Michigan University.
