Kavish Kumar Jain, PhD, is an accomplished scientist specializing in microbiology and biotechnology, currently serving as the Director of Science and Director of Precision Fermentation at The Live Green Co since October 2022. Prior to this role, Kavish held the position of Principal Scientist at Perfect Day - India from December 2020 to August 2022. Experience also includes serving as a Research Associate at ICGEB, New Delhi from September 2018 to December 2020, focusing on scaling up cellulase enzyme production, as well as working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Delhi University from July 2016 to September 2018, where research centered on transcriptome and proteomic analysis of fungi related to lignocellulose degradation. Educational credentials include a PhD in Microbiology from Delhi University (2010-2015), an MSc in Biotechnology from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (2007-2009), and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan (2005-2007).
