Kayla Del Rio, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse currently serving at The Little Clinic since June 2015 and at KU Medical Practice Association since July 2014. Prior professional experience includes positions at Wesley Medical Center in the Neuro/Cardiac Intensive Care Unit from June 2009 to June 2014, where care, education, and assistance were provided to patients and their families, as well as an Adjunct Instructor role at Wichita State University from August 2011 to May 2012. Early career experience includes serving as an RN/LPN at ZLB Bioplasma, focusing on donor physicals, screenings, lab reviews, and patient education. Kayla holds a Master’s Degree in Family Practice Nursing from Fort Hays State University (2010-2014) and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Nursing from Wichita State University (2001-2005), with additional minors in Business Administration and Sociology.
