Laura Guerra-Lopez is a dedicated and accomplished individual currently serving as a Campus Representative for The Legal Gist at Yale University, focusing on providing resources for pre-law students and creating educational guides on various legal topics. An active member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society, Laura has presented at the 2024 National Student Research Conference. As an Undergraduate Fellow at the Yale MacMillan Center, Laura engages in interdisciplinary studies, while also leading the Esperanza Law Special Immigrant Juvenile Status project for the Yale Undergraduate Legal Aid Association. Additional experience includes a legal internship with the City Attorney's Office in Miami, volunteering with the Office of New Americans, and founding the non-profit Corazón Contento, which aids Venezuelans during a humanitarian crisis. Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Yale University and previously attended Miami Dade College.
