Stephen Michaels is an accomplished acting teacher with extensive experience in Method Acting. Currently serving as an acting teacher at both The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the New School, Stephen Michaels has also been a member of the Playwrights and Directors Unit of the Actors Studio since November 2012. In addition, Stephen Michaels has taught at Tisch School of the Arts since January 2000 and held the position of director at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts from 2004 to 2009. Stephen Michaels holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Literature from Harvard University, where studies took place from 1964 to 1968, and has further education from Buckingham Brown & Nichols and NPAP. Additionally, Stephen Michaels is a student of the renowned Lee Strasberg.
