Bobbie Wan currently serves as the Head of Regulatory Policy and Strategy at The Law Society of NSW since January 2022, previously holding the position of Team Leader, Professional Support & Regulatory Policy. Prior experience includes the role of A/Manager at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, where responsibility involved drafting government responses related to water infrastructure inquiries. As a Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Justice NSW, Bobbie led forensic mental health reforms. Additional positions encompass Senior Legal and Policy Advisor at the Office of the eSafety Commissioner, and significant contributions to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Bobbie's legal career includes roles at Allens, Redfern Legal Centre, and the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority, showcasing extensive experience in policy development, legal advisory functions, and stakeholder engagement across various sectors. Educational qualifications include Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Sydney and The University of British Columbia, along with a BA in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney.
