Carly Gerrity has a diverse and extensive work experience in the jewelry industry. Carly has worked as the Director of Product Development at The Last Line since 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at Kendra Scott from 2018 to 2020, including Director of Product Excellence and Quality Development and Director of Technical Development. From 2016 to 2018, Carly was the Director of Product Development- Bali at John Hardy, where they led a team of 70 people and oversaw the development of 500+ handmade jewelry styles annually. Before that, they worked at David Yurman as the Senior Director of Product Development, Silver and Silver Ice from 2013 to 2016. Carly has also held positions at Haskell Jewels as the Product Manager for Robert Lee Morris from 2011 to 2013, and at Robert Lee Morris as the Director of Product Development and Design from 2000 to 2011. Carly started their career at the Gemological Institute of America in the Research Library from 1998 to 1999.
Carly Gerrity has a diverse education history in the field of metalsmithing and jewelry making. In 1992, they began their education at Miami University where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelrymaking. Carly continued their education at The University of Georgia from 1994 to 1996, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art with a focus on metalsmithing and jewelry making. Carly Gerrity also attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1998 and 1999, obtaining certifications in Design, Advanced Stone Setting, Wax Carving, and Platinum, as well as becoming a Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Jeweler.
