Sunny R. currently serves as the Head of Social Impact at Kroger, focusing on enhancing the company's ESG performance and addressing key social issues such as food access and diversity. Previously, Sunny was the Director of Corporate Affairs for Ralph's, Food 4 Less, and Foods Co, where responsibilities included external and internal communications and philanthropy. As the Head of Philanthropy and Executive Director at the Kroger Foundation, Sunny directed philanthropic strategies and launched a $10 million Innovation Fund. Prior experience includes managing donor development at Shriners Hospitals for Children, overseeing pension investments at Kroger, and owning The Edge Dance Studio. Sunny began a career as a professional cheerleader and choreographer with the Cincinnati Bengals. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, a Master's in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University, and an Executive Education Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
