Akshaya Chandrasekaran is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Podcast Host at The Ken since April 2023. Prior to this role, Akshaya worked as a Sub-Editor at businessline from July 2020 to April 2023 and completed a Winter Internship at LiveMint in late 2019, focusing on start-ups and technology reporting. Akshaya also contributed as a Volunteer for Bhumi from 2015 to 2018, teaching English to underprivileged children. Additional experience includes a Production Internship at STAR VIJAY TELEVISION PVT LTD in mid-2017, where insights into television reality shows were gained, and an internship at The Hindu in late 2015, specializing in lifestyle, food, and fashion feature writing with six published articles. Akshaya holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from Symbiosis Institute Of Media And Communication (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media from MOP Vaishnav College for Women (2015-2018).
