Mark Hancock is a seasoned freelance photographer currently working with Monkeytree Photography and The Journal Record since 2016, specializing in photojournalism, commercial work, portraiture, and video. Previous experience includes serving as a television camera operator at Remington Park Racetrack Casino from 2016 to 2018, and chief photographer for Oklahoma Gazette/Tierra Media Group from 2006 to 2016, where responsibilities included editorial and special programs photography. Mark began a photographic career in 1990 with Oklahoma Gazette, capturing the essence of alt-weeklies through black and white film, and transitioned to digital photography during a decade-long role at The Journal Record-Dolan Media. Mark's educational background includes attendance at Rose State College.
