Maribel Belen-Figueroa, LCSW, currently serves as a Bilingual Therapist at The Josselyn Center since January 2021, providing individual therapy to children, teens, and adults in English and Spanish, while co-leading groups aimed at first-generation Latinos. Prior experience includes a Bilingual Social Work Intern position at Arden Shore Child and Family Services, and roles at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as a Community Liaison and at YWCA USA as a Women in Leadership Intern. Contributions to community outreach were made through the YMCA's La Línea Community Helpline and United Way of Lake County. Maribel holds a Master of Social Work with a focus on Children, Youth, and Family Services, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
