Elizabeth Eaken serves as the Corporate Media Relations Manager at the Joint Commission, a role held since May 2006, focusing on both domestic and international media relations for the organization. In this position, Elizabeth acts as a corporate spokesperson and manages crisis communication and reputation management. Previous experience includes serving as a Corporate Media Relations Specialist at the same organization, where responsibilities included writing, editing communications materials, and measuring media results. Elizabeth began their journalism career as a Staff Reporter at The Times of Northwest Indiana and Lakeland Newspapers from 1995 to 2006. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and Columbia College Chicago.
