Laurence Solberg is a seasoned health and aging policy fellow at The John A. Hartford Foundation since October 2022. With extensive experience in geriatrics, Laurence has served as Associate Director of Clinical Operations and Chief of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since July 2007. Laurence also holds a professor position at the University of Central Florida - College of Medicine, where responsibilities include directing a fellowship in geriatric medicine. As President and CEO of Thunder Bell Consulting, Inc., Laurence focuses on clinical and educational consulting for programs aimed at improving services for the aging population. Laurence’s previous academic roles include positions at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and Tufts University School of Medicine. Educational credentials encompass medical degrees and residencies from renowned institutions such as Yale School of Medicine and Jagiellonian University.
