Shelly-Ann Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and data protection. Currently serving as the Executive Data Protection Officer at The Jamaica National Group since February 2023, Shelly-Ann previously held the position of Senior Manager, Compliance & Risk, Corporate Secretary at JN General Insurance Company Limited from June 2014 to June 2023. Earlier roles include Compliance Manager at Jamaica National Building Society from November 2005 to May 2014 and Insurance Analyst at the Financial Services Commission from April 2004 to October 2005. Shelly-Ann Walker holds a Legal Education Certificate from Norman Manley Law School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, and a B.Sc. in Management & Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Mona.
