Franco Della Vedova is a highly experienced orthopedic specialist, focusing on arthroscopic surgery and sports traumatology. Currently serving as a medical traumatologist at the Instituto Jaime Slullitel - Sanatorio de la mujer since July 2013, Franco has extensive involvement with various organizations, including the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), where Franco contributes to both the Sports Medicine Committee and the Young Professionals Task Force. Franco is also active in the Latin American Society of Arthroscopy, Joint Reconstruction, and Sports Traumatology (SLARD) and the Argentine Association of Sports Traumatology (AATD). In addition to clinical roles, Franco has held significant positions within World Rugby, serving as a medical manager for tournaments and as an antidoping educator. Franco’s education includes specialized training in sports traumatology and arthroscopy from prestigious institutions, such as the Cleveland Clinic and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
