Larry Hanauer was named INSA’s vice president for policy in October 2016. He had served as a senior international policy analyst at the RAND Corporation since 2010. Prior to RAND Mr. Hanauer was a senior staff member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), serving as staff director of the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Human Intelligence, Analysis and Counterintelligence from 2007 to 2010. Mr. Hanauer also worked on intelligence-related projects as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton from 2003 to 2005 and as a policy advisor to the Office of the Secretary of Defense from 1995 to 2003.
