Professor Neil Currie is a seasoned academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and civil engineering education. Currently serving as a Professor of Structural Engineering Practice and Senior Lecturer at The University of Salford since August 2010, Neil Currie specializes in building design and conducts research on tall buildings, sustainability, and tensile fabric structures. In addition to academic roles, Neil Currie is a Director at Woolgar Hunter, where contributions are made to a variety of projects, and serves on multiple committees, including the CB/2 Committee of BSI, focusing on innovation and sustainability in building standards.
