Amy Mack has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Their most recent position is as the Chief Executive Officer at The Institute for Functional Medicine, which they have held since March 2018. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at the same organization since June 2017. Before that, Amy worked as the Executive Director at Year Up from October 2015 to June 2017. Amy also served as the President and CEO at both Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound from December 2012 to October 2015, and at BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS SERVICES, INC from November 2009 to December 2012. Amy has also held significant roles at the Corporation for National and Community Service, where they served as the Senior Advisor for Strategy to the CEO from January 2009 to October 2009, and as the Director of Public Affairs from August 2007 to January 2009. Additionally, they worked as the East Coast Office Operations Manager at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from October 2006 to August 2007. Prior to that, Amy was the Chief of Staff at the Corporation for National and Community Service from November 2002 to October 2006. Amy also held the position of Vice President for Administration at Sagamore Associates -- B & D Consulting from February 2000 to November 2002. Lastly, Amy started their career as the Mayor's Executive Assistant for the Mayor of Indianapolis, serving in the role from 1993 to 2000.
Amy Mack attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Ecology. Amy continued their education at Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs from 1990 to 1993, obtaining a dual Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Public Affairs.
