Theresa Payne has a diverse work experience spanning almost 23 years. Theresa is currently working at THE ICONIC as an Engineering Manager since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at News Corp Australia, holding the positions of Platform Director from March 2021 to April 2022, and Digital Platform Manager from April 2019 to March 2021. Before that, Theresa worked at ASX, where they held various roles including Senior Manager Digital, Technology from July 2017 to March 2019, Manager of Web Development and Support from October 2013 to June 2017, and Senior Web Analyst Programmer from February 2006 to September 2013. Theresa'scareer began at Research Plus Pty Ltd as an Analyst Programmer from December 1999. Theresa also worked at Asteron as an Analyst Programmer from an unspecified start date in 2003.

Theresa Payne completed their undergraduate education at the University of Newcastle from 1998 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Information Science. In 2019, they enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney to pursue a Post Graduate Certificate of IT Project Management, which they are currently pursuing.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Theresa has obtained two certifications. In September 2019, they completed the Akamai Web Performance Foundations certification offered by Akamai Technologies. In October 2016, they obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional certification from ICAgile.
