Christina Purcell has extensive experience in event planning and coordination, currently serving as a volunteer for The Austin Chronicle since August 2015 and as an independent contractor for the HYPE! agency since October 2014. Christina's background includes a role as a corporate concierge at John Paul and as an on-site coordinator at Sifted.co, specializing in corporate catering. An events intern at High Beam Events, Christina managed social media, supported venue sourcing, and organized schedules for SXSW 2019 while demonstrating leadership at the Burton wedding. Previous roles at The Hampton Inn/Hilton Garden Inn and SXSW involved customer service, event support, and festival operations. Christina holds an Associate of Applied Science in Event Planning from Austin Community College, completed in 2018.
