William "Hank" Hall is the treasurer and chief financial officer of the Humane Society of the United States.
He leads all investment, financial and accounting matters. He joined the HSUS from The Nature Conservancy where he was responsible for all accounting methods and processes, as well as tax matters. He also previously served as interim chief financial officer. Before his work with the Conservancy, Hall was in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Exempt Organizations Practice — part of their Washington National Tax Services — where he advised a wide variety of tax-exempt organizations on tax and business matters.
Hall is a certified public accountant and is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Kogod School of Business at American University.
