Derek Abbott is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business intelligence, product strategy, and project management. Currently serving as the Senior Business Intelligence & Strategy Manager at Mitek Systems, Derek leads product strategy for the Check Fraud Defender Bank Consortium while managing strategic relationships. As a Founding Member of The House of Fraud, Derek contributes to industry efforts. Prior roles include Project Manager at FORM, where Derek facilitated client partnerships and implemented custom data analytics models, and various positions at Orbograph, advancing through support specialist roles to Senior Product Specialist, where Derek provided technical expertise and product implementation for check fraud prevention.
