Carrie Carano O'Halloran

Sr. Director of Compliance at The Honey Pot

Carrie Carano O'Halloran has worked in various roles in the food industry for over 20 years. Carrie began their career in 1998 as a Lab Assistant - Summer Intern at BASF, followed by Production Team Leader and Operations Management Assistant at General Mills. In 2001, they were a Project Lead and Protein Final Purification Supervisor at Genentech. From 2007 to 2018, they were a QA Project Manager, QA Manager, and QA Supervisor at Now Foods. Since 2018, they have been a QA Manager at OLLY PBC, and more recently a Sr. Director of Compliance and Director of Compliance at The Honey Pot Company.

Carrie Carano O'Halloran has a comprehensive educational background. Carrie obtained their MS in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Science from Northwestern University in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Food Science from Michigan State University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Investigations and CAPA from PathWise in 2021, Excel: PivotTable Tips from LinkedIn in 2020, FSVP from NSF International in 2018, SQF from Silliker Laboratories Inc in 2017, HACCP Manager from AIB International, Inc, Leadership from University of Illinois Chicago, and PCQI from SQF Institute.
