Katie Salenius is an experienced educator and coach currently serving as a JV Soccer Coach and Social Studies Teacher at Nashoba Regional School District since June 2023. In addition to these roles, Katie acts as a Campus Ambassador for The Hidden Opponent, advocating for mental health awareness among student-athletes. Prior experience includes roles such as Soccer Coach at Steel Sports, Substitute Teacher at Northampton Public Schools, and an AmeriCorps Teaching Fellow with Generation Teach, where Katie developed and implemented lesson plans for various grade levels. Katie has also served as a Substitute Teacher in the Mendon-Upton School District and worked as a Camp Counselor for the Mashpee Recreation Department. A graduate of Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Education & Child Study and History, Katie has volunteered as a coach for Mendon Upton Youth Soccer, emphasizing a commitment to youth development and educational excellence.
