Madelyn Porter is an accomplished actress and stage manager with a diverse performance background, currently holding the position of Actress/Stage Manager at MADS WORLD. Since January 2011, Madelyn has been a performing artist at The Henry Ford, contributing to productions such as "The Life & Times of Sojourner Truth," "The Gullah Tales," and "How I Got Over." A seasoned performer, Madelyn worked freelance as an actress and comedian from 1976 to 2014 and served as a storyteller at the Detroit Institute of Arts from February 2000 to February 2010, with notable pieces including "Ain't I A Woman," "Life Is Fine," and "The Signifying Monkey." Madelyn earned a Post Bachelor degree in Education from Wayne State University between 2003 and 2007.
