Mike Hession is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in audit and accounting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and General Auditor at The Hartford Financial Services Group since 1998, Mike previously held the position of VP & Controller at Connecticut Surety, Inc. from June 1996 to May 1998. Prior to that, Mike worked at Ernst & Young from 1985 to 1996, where the role of Senior Manager was held. Mike Hession obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Providence College between 1981 and 1985 and also studied at the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg in 1984.
