Amy Stepnowski serves as the Chief Investment Officer at The Hartford since August 2020 and has been with Hartford Investment Management Co. (HIMCO) since September 2008, holding positions such as President, Managing Director, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President, where responsibilities included heading Public Credit Research and serving as a Senior Research Analyst and High Yield Research Analyst. Prior to their current roles, Amy Stepnowski worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from July 1990 to February 2002 as a Managing Director, focusing on Latin American Corporate and Project Finance. Amy Stepnowski holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Yale University, completed in 1990.
