Katherine Coumes, SE, is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the field of structural engineering. Currently serving as an Engineer at Hart Design Group since March 2021, Katherine has also been an Engineer II at Electric Boat since July 2012, with expertise in Internal Structures and Waterfront Engineering. Previous roles include Engineer at Structures Workshop, Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, Engineering Technician at the Army Corps of Engineers, and Intern at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Katherine holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Cornell University.
