Sarah H. has extensive experience in media analysis and open-source research, currently serving as Chief Editor for the SALW Diversion Monitoring Project at The HALO Trust since September 2017, where the focus is on compiling research related to small arms and light weapons diversion. Additionally, Sarah has contributed to the HALO Trust's Ukraine project as a social media researcher. A freelance media analyst since 2009, previous roles include web editor for European Radio Network and Radio Netherlands, and Russian open source analyst at the Open Source Center, US Embassy. Sarah's career began as Chief Sub-Editor/Monitoring Journalist at BBC Monitoring, and academic credentials include a Master's degree in Translating & Interpreting from the University of Bradford and a Bachelor's degree in Russian from the University of Sheffield.
