Philippa Coates is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in donor relations and project management within the humanitarian sector. Currently serving as the Donor Relations Manager at The HALO Trust since April 2023, Philippa oversees project planning, funding acquisition, and the coordination of partnerships while mentoring a support team. Previously, as a Project Executive at JOURI for Research and Consulting, Philippa led various monitoring and evaluation projects for international NGOs in Syria, focusing on health and emergency response interventions. Additionally, Philippa coordinated the Generate Voices Forum, advocating for the rights of individuals with learning disabilities in the UK. Philippa holds a Master of Science in Humanitarianism Aid and Conflict from SOAS University of London, a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from Loughborough University, and an International Studies Diploma from Sciences Po Lyon.
