Shea Carlberg currently serves as a Senior Copy Editor at The GW Hatchet, where responsibilities include editing content in accordance with the publication's style guide, proofreading over 30 stories and blogs weekly, and ensuring adherence to grammar and style standards under tight deadlines. Additionally, Shea holds the position of Communications Project Leader at the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, focusing on planning website updates and documenting community-engaged scholarship. Previously, Shea interned at the Foundation for English Language Acquisition, providing online ESL classes for immigrants and refugees. Shea is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at The George Washington University, having completed high school at Tualatin High School.
