Anja Shafer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global development partnerships and fundraising. Currently serving as VP of Global Development Partnerships at SOURCE Global since August 2022, Anja also holds positions as a Board Member at WomensTrust and is part of the Innovative Development Council at The Greater Boston Food Bank. Anja's previous roles include leading refugee resettlement and integration efforts at Ascentria Care Alliance, as well as various leadership positions at Accion, where Anja played a key role in institutional fundraising, donor relations, and program development. Anja's career began at Roca Inc. as a Manager, and earlier experience includes managing a research team at AIRINC. Anja holds a Master's degree in International Economic Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Economics from Brigham Young University, along with additional training and certifications in microfinance and digital money.
