Steve Kovacic serves as the Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at The Good Samaritan Society, where responsibilities include providing strategic leadership to the HR department, overseeing various HR functions, and managing analytics and technology. Previous roles include Vice President of People at Covenant Care + Covenant Living, where strategic HR leadership was provided, and Acting Director positions at Covenant Health Canada, focusing on HR operations and strategic planning. Steve has an extensive background in HR, having also served as Director of Occupational Health, Safety & Wellness at Covenant Health Canada and as Vice President at Dynamic Millwright and Machining. Steve’s educational credentials include an MBA from the Alberta School of Business, a post-graduate degree in Environmental Health from Concordia University of Edmonton, and a Bachelor's degree in Physiology/Pharmacology from the University of Alberta.
