Mathab Nizam is a seasoned professional with experience in project management and program consultancy, specializing in community engagement and resilience development in conflict-affected regions such as Syria and Iraq. Currently serving as the Syria & Iraq Network Manager and Project Manager at The Global Strategy Network since April 2022, Mathab oversees project lifecycles, budget management, and stakeholder communication. Previous roles include Founder and Director of Quality Research and Development, and Program Consultant positions at IREX and Creative Associates International, where responsibilities included budget oversight and training implementation. Mathab's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Aleppo University, complemented by a fellowship in Political Science from the American University of Beirut.
