Amrutha Desikan is an experienced student leader and legal professional with a focus on innovation, technology, and data protection laws. Currently serving as a Student Leader at The Global Education & Leadership Foundation since August 2017, Amrutha has engaged in various legal internships, including roles at the Chambers of N.S. Nappinnai, Economic Laws Practice, Spectrum Legal, and The Hindu. A recent Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh Law School, Amrutha conducted a comprehensive review of empirical literature in the "Copyright and Creativity" field for Dr. Smita Kheria. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Innovation, Technology and the Law from the University of Edinburgh, a One Year Advanced Diploma in Cybersecurity and Data Protection Laws from NALSAR University, and a BA LLB (Hons) from Hidayatullah National Law University.
