Mark Leonhard is a Mechanical Design Engineer at The Gleason Works since 2008, specializing in the machine product line, including hobber and shaping machines, customer specials, product enhancements, cost reduction activities, and the development of integrated systems such as part conveyors and robot loading. Previously, Mark served as a CAD/CAM Applications Engineer and Group Leader at The Gleason Works from 1998 to 2002, overseeing the CAD environment, rollout, training, Pro/E parametric modeling, CAM for slant turn lathes and machining centers, and sheet metal design and manufacturing, while managing a team of six. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, obtained between 1982 and 1989.
