Daniel Wood currently serves as the Director of Machine Products Engineering at Gleason Corporation, a position held since June 1999. With a robust engineering background, Daniel has progressed through various managerial roles, overseeing departments such as Mechanical and Controls Engineering and Additive Manufacturing. Notable responsibilities have included managing new product development initiatives and enhancing design processes for gear manufacturing machines. In addition to industry experience, Daniel has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Daniel holds a Master of Science degree in Product Development and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, alongside an Associate degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering Technology.
