Jonathan Reed is an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician currently working at the Maritime Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) since February 2020 and serving as an Electrical Engineer Tech at The GBS Group since 2020. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Field Service Engineer at Schneider Electric from November 2015 to November 2018 and worked as a Gas Turbine Systems Electrician Technician with the United States Navy from July 2003 to October 2015. In this role, Jonathan performed electrical maintenance on gas turbine generators, maintained LM 2500 Gas Turbine Engines, and documented procedures related to gas turbine propulsion. Jonathan possesses strong skills in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, repairing electrical equipment, and performing preventative and corrective maintenance, alongside expertise in installing power panels and distribution boxes. Additionally, Jonathan has experience as an Advanced Electrical and Electronics Training Instructor and holds a Tech Prep Diploma from Maury High School.
