Erica Hensley is an accomplished reporter currently working for The Fuller Project since December 2021, focusing on health and science stories with a specialization in public health policy, mental and reproductive health, aging, and infectious diseases. Previously, Erica served as an Investigative and Public Health Reporter for Mississippi Today, leading COVID-19 coverage, and as a Freelance Reporter, contributing to various local and national publications. Erica's diverse background includes roles in community relations and marketing for Bound to be Read Books and tutoring at Vision Tutoring, complemented by internships at Turner Broadcasting and Creative Loafing. Erica holds a Master’s Degree in Health and Medical Journalism from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia and dual Bachelor's degrees in Print Journalism and Political Science from the University of Southern California.
