Aria Baghai is a PhD researcher at The Francis Crick Institute since September 2022, following a role as a research laboratory technician at University College London (UCL) from February 2021 to September 2022. In June 2020, Aria participated in the UCL Student Covid-19 recovery challenge, collaborating with a team to develop strategies addressing the pandemic's impact. Previous experience includes assisting a sales team at Adelphi Insurance Brokers Ltd in 2016 and gaining exposure to venture capital during a shadowing placement at Enterprise Ventures Group Limited, secured through a competition. Aria also shadowed senior partners at Myerson Solicitors, gaining insights into company law, and observed surgeries and diagnostic procedures at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in early 2015. Aria holds an Msci in Biochemistry from UCL (2016-2020) and an International Baccalaureate from The Manchester Grammar School (2009-2016).
