Melvin Morel is currently employed as a Data Specialist at The Fortune Society since May 2023. Previously, Melvin served as an Intake Administrator and Data Entry professional for the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene during the COVID-19 pandemic from March 2020 to September 2020. Earlier roles include working as a Legal Assistant Paralegal at Grimble & Loguidice, LLC from July 2019 to January 2020 and at CUOMO LLC from June 2012 to January 2017. Melvin is currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate at the City University of New York School of Law, expected to graduate in May 2027, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from John Jay College (CUNY), completed in June 2017, along with coursework at Columbia Business School from August 2022 to April 2023.
